Ankit and Mansi met online, modern love at its finest. Their first date was at a cozy coffee shop in New York City… right in the middle of SantaCon 2022. Picture it: hundreds of tipsy Santas flooding the streets, jingling bells, and holiday chaos everywhere. Yet somehow, amidst the festive mayhem, they found something rare: a quiet connection that felt effortless, easy, and completely genuine.

Over the next few months, that spark grew into something real. They discovered a shared love for traveling, an unhealthy obsession with great pizza, and the joy of roasting each other. Even though they lived in different states, they made it work, meeting every week in Manhattan, turning the city into their personal playground. From exploring new neighborhoods to revisiting favorite restaurants, those evenings became the highlight of their week and the foundation of something truly special.

Over time, they began blending their worlds. Siblings met, best friends got introduced, and everyone agreed: it just worked. What could have been nerve-wracking was, instead, surprisingly natural like they’d all known each other forever.

Then, in December 2024, they took a meaningful step forward and introduced their relationship to their parents. Both families welcomed each other with warmth, laughter, and excitement.

What Mansi didn’t know was that Ankit had also been secretly plotting their next big chapter.

At Wagner Cove in Central Park, tucked away from the city’s usual chaos, a quaint gazebo awaited, adorned with a heart made of rose petals. When Mansi arrived, she definitely knew something was up (Ankit’s not exactly known for subtlety), but she wasn’t prepared for what came next. Borderline hyperventilating, Ankit dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. As their friends and siblings jumped out from hiding, cheering and snapping photos, Mansi, of course, said YES!
